Vintage Charm

I appreciated the hotel's vintage charm. The room was very clean. The staff helped me settle in and answered questions about the area. The hotel ordered food and got transportation for me.
I found the noise level to be an issue. I could hear every step from the persons staying in the room above us. At 2 am, a person in the next room played a podcast so loudly, I could hear every word.

Excellent Downtown Stay

I booked a Superior King Bed Private Bathroom and found it very clean and modern. Each bedside table included a wireless charger and USB port built into the lamp. The bathroom was large and well-equipped. The temperature control in the room worked silently and efficiently via radiators I found out. The WiFi provided also worked very well .
The hotel had no restaurant or bar so I had to walk to find those.
Location

The hotel is centrally located near shopping and many restaurants. Canada Place, subways, theaters, and museums are all walkable. Many dining choices are available close by. Gastown is within walking distance for an evening stroll.
Rooms
9/10
Rooms are warm and large with very comfortable beds. A mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the room. The room had character with a good feel. The room was very clean and well-kept.
Service

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. They assisted with directions around the city with a smile. The concierge was considerate and stored our luggage. Staff accommodated requests quickly and generously for me.
Dining

While the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, they suggest nearby cafes. A supermarket is located nearby for added convenience. There are many restaurants in the area so I had no problem finding what I needed. Great alternatives are easily accessible.
